Embracing the Pickles of Life: A Journey of Faith and Surrender

Image
Hey there, lovely girls! Have you ever found yourself in a situation that completely took you by surprise—a “pickle” you never saw coming? Whether it’s a tough relationship, a sudden change in plans, or a challenge that feels way bigger than you, life has a funny way of throwing curveballs. Sometimes, it feels like you’re sailing smoothly through life, everything falling into place—good grades, a supportive family, a fun job, and a home that feels like a safe haven. But then, one day, you find yourself thinking, “How did I end up in this mess?” The truth is, sometimes those moments of ease can be just as tricky as the storms. When everything is going well, it’s easy to forget who gave us all those blessings in the first place. We get comfortable. We start relying on ourselves instead of God. Maybe we even begin to take our blessings for granted—good friends, opportunities, or that perfect family moment—and we think we’ve got it all figured out. But, if we’re not careful, those blessing...

Stand Firm in God’s Word

Image
Hey girl! I know you’re navigating through a lot right now, and sometimes it can feel like the weight of the world is pressing down on you. The enemy is clever—he’s out there trying to make sin seem appealing, even tempting us with the idea that it’s okay to give in just this once. But let me tell you something: it’s a lie, and we are NOT meant to fall for it. The enemy doesn’t show you the consequences at first. He’ll make sin look fun or harmless, telling you, “Just do it. God will forgive you anyway.” But the truth is the minute you take that step, the enemy leaves you stranded. You’ll start to feel ashamed, disappointed in yourself, and wondering how you ended up here. That’s not okay. That’s not how God designed you to live. When you feel tempted, take a step back and remember: the enemy doesn’t go after people who don’t matter. If he’s trying to tear you down, it’s because he’s threatened. He knows how powerful you are in Christ. He knows the impact you’re going to make in this w...

Grace Beyond Fear

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” – Proverbs 31:25 This verse reminds us that true strength comes from trusting God. When we rely on Him, we can face whatever the future holds with confidence and peace, knowing He’s got us every step of the way.

Pushing Through Hard Times: Embracing the Trials God Has for Us

Image
Hey beautiful souls! 🌸 Life isn’t always easy, right? Sometimes, it feels like everything is going wrong at once, and it can be hard to understand why we’re going through tough situations. Whether it’s school stress, family struggles, or feeling like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, it’s normal to wonder,  Why me?  But here’s the truth, girls: God allows us to go through these trials for a reason, and He’s with us every step of the way. The Bible tells us in James 1:2-4,  “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” So, what does this mean for us? It means that when we face challenges, it’s not about simply enduring the difficulty. It’s about  growing  through the difficulty. God uses trials to shape our character, to strengthen our faith, an...

Finding My Purpose: God's Plan for Me

Image
Hey Sisters in Christ, As a teen, I often find myself asking:  What’s my purpose?  It’s a question that’s been on my mind for a while now, and I know I’m not alone in wondering. I’m in that phase of life where everything feels like it’s in motion. I’m figuring out who I am, what I believe, and where I’m supposed to go next. I’ve realized that it’s normal to question your purpose, especially when life is so full of changes. But being a Christian has made me see this question in a different light. My purpose isn’t something I have to discover on my own—it’s something that God has already planned for me. My Purpose Is Part of God’s Plan I sometimes get caught up in trying to figure out my life, but there’s this one verse in the Bible that always brings me peace when I’m feeling lost. It’s from Jeremiah 29:11, and it says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” When I read that, I...
