Loved & Led: Finding Wisdom in God’s Word

Image
Hey sweet friends!  Life can get super confusing sometimes, right? Between school, friendships, dreams, and even the pressures of figuring out who we are, it’s easy to feel like we don’t always know what to do next. I’ve been there. Honestly, I’m still there  a lot . But here’s the amazing truth I keep coming back to: God doesn’t leave us to figure it all out alone. He offers us something priceless —  His wisdom . You might be wondering:  What does “God’s wisdom” even mean?  Or  how do I know if I have it? I’ve learned (and am still learning!) that God’s wisdom isn’t just about being “book smart” or always having the right answer. It’s about seeing life through His eyes — understanding what truly matters, loving people like He does, and making choices that honor Him even when it’s hard. James 1:5 says,  “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”  How incr...

Living in Today: Because Tomorrow Isn’t Promised

Image
Hey sweet friend, Let’s talk about something real today—how we live like we can see the future, like we hold time in our hands. But newsflash:  we don’t. I was reading James 4 the other day, and this verse hit me like a ton of bricks: “Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”  —James 4:13-14 (NIV) We are not promised tomorrow. Yet, we fill our planners and phones with schedules and events like we’ve got endless time. We say things like “next week I’ll…” or “in five years I’ll…” without a second thought. Dreaming and planning isn’t wrong—in fact, it’s wise when we keep God in the center of it. But when we get so wrapped up in the “what ifs” and “what’s next” that we forget the  right now —that’s where we lose sight of God’s goodness in the present...

Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone With Discipleship

Image
Hey there, beautiful souls!  Discipleship is a big word, but it’s one that holds so much meaning for us as believers in Christ. And let’s be honest—sometimes it can feel really, really hard. It’s easy to talk about, but when we actually try to live it out, we hit a wall. The main reason? Our comfort zones. Comfort zones are those little safe places where we feel secure. But guess what? Comfort zones are also full of fear, anxiety, and resistance. They keep us from stepping out in faith, from doing the very thing we were put on this earth to do—discipling and leading others to the love and grace of God. We were made to share His truth, to teach about His love, and to guide others to Him. Yet, it’s easy to make excuses: “I’m too shy,” “I don’t know enough,” or “What if I fail?” But here’s the thing—our comfort zones are not where God wants us to stay. They are actually the barriers that keep us from fulfilling God’s calling on our lives. We all have moments when we feel unsure or anx...

Embrace Your Waiting Season Even When It’s Hard

Image
Hey friends! 💖 Let’s be real for a second: waiting can be so hard. Whether you’re waiting for your dreams to unfold, answers to prayers, or just waiting for God to move in your life, it’s tough. And honestly, sometimes it can feel like you’re stuck in limbo, unsure of what’s next. But, as hard as it is, the waiting season is one of the most important parts of our walk with Jesus. The Bible tells us that as humans, we’re born with a natural tendency toward impatience and worry. We often don’t have the patience that the Holy Spirit can produce in us. It’s one of the fruits of the Spirit, and it doesn’t come naturally! Waiting for God’s perfect timing can bring out all our doubts, fears, and anxieties. Sometimes it feels like we’re waiting forever, and we just don’t know how to trust that God’s plan is actually better than our own. But here’s the good news: God is with us in the waiting . It’s okay to feel uncertain, but we don’t have to stay stuck there. The key is learning to trust Go...

Embracing the Pickles of Life: A Journey of Faith and Surrender

Image
Hey there, lovely girls! Have you ever found yourself in a situation that completely took you by surprise—a “pickle” you never saw coming? Whether it’s a tough relationship, a sudden change in plans, or a challenge that feels way bigger than you, life has a funny way of throwing curveballs. Sometimes, it feels like you’re sailing smoothly through life, everything falling into place—good grades, a supportive family, a fun job, and a home that feels like a safe haven. But then, one day, you find yourself thinking, “How did I end up in this mess?” The truth is, sometimes those moments of ease can be just as tricky as the storms. When everything is going well, it’s easy to forget who gave us all those blessings in the first place. We get comfortable. We start relying on ourselves instead of God. Maybe we even begin to take our blessings for granted—good friends, opportunities, or that perfect family moment—and we think we’ve got it all figured out. But, if we’re not careful, those blessing...

Stand Firm in God’s Word

Image
Hey girl! I know you’re navigating through a lot right now, and sometimes it can feel like the weight of the world is pressing down on you. The enemy is clever—he’s out there trying to make sin seem appealing, even tempting us with the idea that it’s okay to give in just this once. But let me tell you something: it’s a lie, and we are NOT meant to fall for it. The enemy doesn’t show you the consequences at first. He’ll make sin look fun or harmless, telling you, “Just do it. God will forgive you anyway.” But the truth is the minute you take that step, the enemy leaves you stranded. You’ll start to feel ashamed, disappointed in yourself, and wondering how you ended up here. That’s not okay. That’s not how God designed you to live. When you feel tempted, take a step back and remember: the enemy doesn’t go after people who don’t matter. If he’s trying to tear you down, it’s because he’s threatened. He knows how powerful you are in Christ. He knows the impact you’re going to make in this w...
